Profiling
On receiving a candidate request from you, our first aim is to work with you to develop a candidate profile. In order to
do this, we will assign you with a recruitment consultant who will ask a series of questions relating to the job
description, your business practice and company culture and values.
Candidate search
Once a profile of your desired candidate has been established, your designated recruitment consultant will review our
extensive employee database to shortlist candidates that fit the pre-determined profile.
Selection Process
We will then discuss the results of our search with you, allowing you to either interview selected candidates, or
arrange for a start date to commence employment.
Quality Review
As part of our ongoing quality assurance procedures, a member of our team will contact you once we have filled your
assignment to check the placement is progressing well and address any concerns you may have.

Temp to Perm
For added convenience we offer a Temp to Perm service which offers you the opportunity to evaluate the
performance of a candidate on a temporary basis prior to offering a permanent contract. Should the temporary
placement last for a minimum of thirteen weeks, then we will arrange for the transfer from temporary contract to
permanent contract at no cost to you.

Payroll
With changes in regulation and compliance requirements, the area of payroll can often be complex, time consuming

Our friendly and efficient payroll team are able to competently manage your entire payroll service, allowing you to
concentrate on your core business activities. Our payroll service includes:
- The provision of weekly or monthly pay runs
- Reconciliation of any time sheets or records of attendance
- Calculation of all PAYE & employee and employer NI contributions
- Processing of all attachment of earnings including loans, fines and council tax arrears
- Calculation of any SSP, SMP, redundancy, pension, expenses and holiday entitlement
- Production of wage slips and any P45's and P60's
- Provision of a pay run summary indicating all payments required
- Provision of an end of year reconciliation report supported by all relevant documentation

CRB Umbrella Services
Gateway Employment is a registered umbrella organisation for the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB). This authorises
us to offer businesses more robust candidate vetting procedures which have been informed by relevant government
departments to ensure you make a more informed and safer recruitment decision.
We offer two forms of CRB Disclosures:
- A Standard Disclosure shows current and spent convictions, cautions, reprimands and warnings held on the Police National Computer.
- An Enhanced Disclosure offers the same information as the Standard Disclosure in addition to; any relevant information held by local police forces and checks of the new children and / or Vulnerable Adults barred list.
